Ninja Warrior UK – Applications are open for Series 8 of the British physical obstacle assault game show, Created for ITV. Ninja Warrior is based on the format of the American Ninja Warrior.
It is influenced by the Japanese game show Sasuke, created by Ushio Higuchi, which aired worldwide as Ninja Warrior.
It premiered on September 10, 2022, after being filmed in Manchester Central in August 2022. The Competition format changed to include head-to-head knockout races against professional course testers and each other.
